Anna Karlsson
Anna Karlsson’s educational background is a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering. “My ambition is to be a good and respected engineer and get more responsibility over time,” she says. “I am a product designer and in my daily work I have a small project where I have developed new customer-specific solutions. I also have a larger project that runs throughout the trainee period, where the main objective is a benchmark against our American colleagues and their plant in order to develop our manufacturing process of silicone products.”
Mostly, Anna will be located in Värnamo, Sweden, but she will also be in the United States because of her project. “The trainee program is a very exciting experience,” she says. “It’s a chance to learn more about Trelleborg, but also to get a worldwide social and professional network.” The trainee sessions also give her a great opportunity to develop, both on a personal level and professionally. “In my spare time I love spending time with my dog and go for long walks in the nature. In the future I hope to get more time to spend on my other passion which is painting,” Anna says.
