Trelleborg Automotive has been producing door bump stop solutions for many years. The Car Body division has developed a new car boot bump stop with an integrated internal spring. The spring and rubber act to improve noise reduction for hatchback applications.
We also design bonnet bump stops, designed specifically to reduce injury in case of pedestrian impact.
Electrical sensors can easily be integrated into our bump stops. Trelleborg’s bump stop range is watertight and can provide active damping. We use a variety of materials depending on customer requirements for compression, durability, temperature resistance etc.
