Because Unitex manufactures its squeegee to +/- 2.5° Shore A (Durometer) the screen printer is ensured they can fit the a replacement Unitex squeegee and it will perform as effectively the previous one. This reduces set up times and ensures the printing is in specification and right first time.
Unitex adheres strongly to their ISO 9001 accreditation. We have complete traceability from raw materials, thorough manufacturing and the finished product. Unitex has vastly experienced Quality and Inspection departments. We inspect out any potential defects unlike some of our competitors who just ship and let the user do it. We also test every single sheet of material we manufacture, a claim some others cannot match.
Most squeegees use heavy metals as a catalyst in the manufacturing process. ULON HP does not. While the squeegee does not go into the finished product more and more of our clients are asking for our RoHS certification as this is the last piece in a fully environmental manufacturing process.
Our squeegees are machined using state of the art CNC equipment. The printing edge is consistently sharp and is capable of depositing inks or pastes down to 10 µm (Microns). Some squeegee manufacturers make a Moulded squeegee but the radius at the printing edge makes it difficult to deposit the fine lines required. Also with the moulded product as soon as the edge is dressed it looses its ‘moulded’ properties.

You will have access to our technical team who are focused on offering service and advice. We will supply Free of Charge samples to help you set up your production and manufacturing process.
