These are demanding and challenging market places. Our products are used in various applications ranging from the NASA space program through to deepsea Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) operating at 7000MSW (almost 23,000 feet) below sea level.
Our products are also used in the aerospace industry. Their use spans both commercial and military aricraft. The excellent strength to weight properties of our products give us a favored position in the market with applications including specialist coatings to reduce radar detectability. Our Eccospheres® glass microspheres can also be found in jet engine vanes due to their ability to absorb vibrational energy and allowing air to be directed through engines via the optimum path.
